There is so much going on in the world these days, so much loss and destruction from forest fires to earthquakes to hurricanes and especially a pandemic. These are natural-born events. But there are also man-made destruction events such as car accidents and plane crashes, building fires, mudslides, floods, and war. And the way weContinue reading “Gun Violence”

Illustory: Write and Illustrate a Professionally Produced Book I bought this years ago for my daughter when she was about 9. She died when she was 16 and I still have the book she wrote, illustrated, and published with this product. It’s now been 20 years since she died and I treasure this book. I’mContinue reading “Young Writers”
DC Would-be Bomber
I remember a few years ago, well, maybe more than a few, of the DC Sniper that terrorized people of the nation’s capital. Now we have the DC Would-be Bomber… a self-stylist, manifest-toting, gun-slinging, violence-focused, Trump-supporting, selfish Christian Republican. Many out there fit this description; in fact, this guy claimed to be one of five.Continue reading “DC Would-be Bomber”
Trumplican Fantasy World
Over the past five years, I’ve observed some basic truths of the mentality of conservative Christian Republicans. While I have never been conservative, nor have I ever voted Republican, I once was a Christian in two very Evangelic churches. Looking back, I realized many of these belonged to the churchgoers I associated with, and maybeContinue reading “Trumplican Fantasy World”
The Pandemic and Vaccines
The past year and a half have been an interesting study of human behavior. Nearly half of our country’s population are in complete denial that we are genuinely in a pandemic and lack the willingness to wear masks, social distance, and get vaccinations. Many Voices on the Truth about Christianity
I started out in life learning the world revolved around the Christian god and church. By age 9, I was searching for answers. By 19, I was still searching and not finding anything. I dabbled in different denominations thinking maybe I find some clues. I got married in the church, attended a Marriage Encounter, andContinue reading “Many Voices on the Truth about Christianity”
God’s Image?
Just a note abut the punctuation in this meme… they are meant to be pauses in the comment. Now, my comment… if man is made in the image of god, whose image is women made in? Covid 19 Vaccinations
We use this same technique with children when we want them to do something they don’t want to do. Fitting, isn’t it? In Southeastern Washington State, one school district opened completely and now several people have tested positive for Covid 19 and needed to close up again. Surprise, surprise.
Funny of the Day: Drivers
The light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing and stopped at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection. The tailgating woman behind him was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get throughContinue reading “Funny of the Day: Drivers”
