Who I am, what I do, and where I am.
I am a writer, genealogist, a Humanist Pagan/Atheist, life long autodidactic student of world religions, history, anthropology, politics, sexuality, body acceptance, trauma, and healing. This site is about my life, studies, beliefs, and interests including art, culture, fashion, cuisine, health, challenges, sexuality, and more.
I turned 71 in December and I live in the Pacific Northwest. I am retired after working with kids for 20 years as a daycare provider, preschool teacher, Campfire and Cub Scout leader, as well as a Campfire educator, Paraeducator, Parenting teacher, Parent Liaison, and adult education teacher. I also am a family genealogist.
I am a plus-size, disabled mother to two, grandmother of three, and great-grandmother of one. I just recently became widowed.
