1. Covid dating behavior:
– Are you choosier?
– Are you less choosey?
– Are you more frank and up front about what you want?
I haven’t dated in a long time. Nothing has changed.
2. What is stable in your life? Answer Yes or No as in “yes, this is stable” or “no this is not stable”. Elaborate if you wish.
Yes, stable, hours are good, pay sucks. I’m retired
Yes, stable, thankfully
– Romantic relationship
No, not stable, unless you consider being alone stable
– Economy of your country
No, things are going from bad to worse for most people.
– Mental health
No, not stable… lots of variations.
– Physical health
No, not stable. Only when I think it is I’m thrown a curve.
3. Have you lived in a different country than the one you were born? Did you have to learn the language?
Until six months ago, I lived the past 70 years within 100 miles where I was born. Now I am about 700 miles away. But always in the same country.
4. Can you speak any other languages?
When I was in high school, I learned the beginnings of Japanese, French, and Spanish. Just enough to place overseas calls when I was an operator. Fifty years later, I’m trying to learn, or relearn, several languages.
5. How do you manage your fears?
I consider the worst-case scenario and how likely it would be that it would happen.
Bonus: What would you pick to add to your coffee, Baileys, Amaretto, or Whisky/Whiskey?
I don’t drink coffee, but I like Kahlua with Bailey’s and blended with vanilla ice cream.
