“OathKeepers’ lawyer claims ‘the Constitution does not protect one from violence’ in a typo-plagued response to Capitol riot lawsuit.”
“Attorney Kerry Lee Morgan claims that the Oath Keepers had no part in pushing Trump supporters to storm the Capitol, despite the fact that prosecutors have charged 14 members of the militia with crimes related to the deadly siege.”

“A Proud Boys member seen wielding an ax handle during the U.S. Capitol insurrection wants to be released from jail, so his disability payments aren’t discontinued.”
Read that again. A “man” so severely injured that he needs to be receiving disability payments can still swing an ax handle at others and be able to storm the Capitol. And he is against the government overreach and still accepts disability.
“The 47-year-old William Chrestman suffers long-term chronic back pain from a workplace accident, and he wasn’t receiving proper pain medication in jail, the motion states, and he also wasn’t being treated for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, major depressive disorder, and insomnia.”

That picture with Tulsa and the Capitol building was so brutal in it’s message. I just talked about the 100th anniversary of the Black Wall Street Massacre yesterday, so that really puts this into greater perspective.

I have to admit I knew nothing about the history of Tulsa and the massacre. I’m glad people are talking about it now. I’m glad I’m learning about it.

Don’t feel bad about it. I didn’t know about it until a few years ago and I never learned about it in school. Black Wall Street NEEDS to be discussed. I would strongly recommend the documentary Hate Crimes in the Heartland.
