I love Fettuccine Alfredo. It’s a pasta I will order often when I go out for dinner. So I was thrilled to find this recipe for an easy version of the dish. It’s not only easy, but absolutely delicious.
Easy Fettuccine Alfredo
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup milk
8 ounces fettuccine, cooked, drained
Stir cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, butter and milk in large saucepan on low heat until smooth. Add fettuccine; toss lightly. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
If you want to add onions and garlic to this, melt the butter and add chopped onions and garlic to saute, making sure the butter doesn’t brown. Then add in the milk and cheeses and follow the rest of the directions.
