  1. I’ve seen the original trilogy and Episode I (sadly). I’m not familiar with the other movies though. Also, thanks for checking out my Top 7 ripoff list and for following my film review blog!

    1. Gotcha. Just wondering. Some of these I didn’t know until last year or a couple of years ago. Discovering Kimba the White Lion a few years back was very eye-opening to me with how blatant Disney’s thievery was when it came to characters, some scenes, and even some of the plot points.


      1. I hear you right there. I used to love that movie when I was a kid, but not so much anymore with that blatant thievery, the stealing of “Mbube”, the trademark issue, and even the depiction of the hyenas once I became an adult.


    1. Sorry for missing this comment. I was definitely referring to the hyenas with the racist implications. Some Disney fans excuse it by mentioning James Earl Jones being Mufasa (double appropriate since this was a Star Wars post), but that’s a strawman. It’s the same thing as a racist in denial saying they have Black friends.
