Republicans won’t grant DC statehood because they will never win DC. They won’t grant Puerto Rico statehood because they won’t even try to win it. They’re suppressing votes of young, working class & communities of color because they have no ability to compete for their votes.

We are not in the top ten countries in the world in rankings on freedom, democracy, health, happiness, quality of life, education, income and sex and race equality. Maybe we should let go of American exceptionalism and begin to learn from countries that are doing better than us.

“Ex-president Donald Trump demanded just after midnight on Saturday morning that Gov. Doug Ducey provide “large-scale” security for the Maricopa audit of all 2.1 million ballots cast in the county in the 2020 national election.
Trump followed up with a second statement on Saturday afternoon saying that “Democrats are doing everything they can to stop the great Patriots of Arizona” from continuing the count.
In the first statement, sent out through his Save America PAC, he calls for the “state police or National Guard” to be “immediately sent out for protection.””
