I’m so tired of people saying things like “guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” No! People with guns kill people. People with knives kill people. People with cars kill people. The key words are “kill people”.. guns, knives and cars are just the process to deliver death.

“Earlier, law enforcement officials said there was a “mass casualty situation” at the FedEx facility located at 8951 Mirabel Road in Indianapolis.
Two employees inside the building at the time told CNN affiliate WISH-TV that they heard as many as ten gunshots.
At first Jeremiah Miller and Timothy Boillat thought the sound was from a car, but after hearing more, Miller stood up and saw a man with a weapon, he told the station.”After hearing the shootings I did see a body on the floor behind a vehicle,” said Boillat. The two men left the building and watched as about 30 police cars responded, Boillat said.”Thank God for being here because I thought I was going to get shot,” Miller told the station.”

It’s now being reported that 9 people have died in this shooting, including the shooter.
Cue the “thoughts and prayers” by those conservative Christians who believe owning a gun is their god-giving right.

“Here’s What We Know About the Suspected Indianapolis FedEx Shooter
The suspected shooter allegedly drove to facility at around 11 p.m. on Thursday night, got out of his car armed with a rifle, and started shooting. He allegedly killed four people outside the facility, and another four inside, before turning the gun on himself.
FedEx confirmed that the suspect was a former employee at the facility he targeted, and was last employed there in the Fall of 2020.
The suspect was known to federal and local authorities prior to the shooting, according to CNN, which reported that one of the suspect’s family members had even contacted authorities because they were concerned about his potential for violence.
… the suspect’s mother contacted law enforcement back in March 2020 because she was concerned her son was going to commit “suicide by cop.” Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department put the suspect on an “immediate detention temporary mental health hold,” transported him to a hospital, and seized a shotgun that he’d bought 24-hours prior.”
