1. Who do you prefer to discuss politics with?
a. partner
b. best friend
c. co-workers
d. strangers
e. parents
Mostly with friends who share the same values and politics. Occasionally with my partner. I gave up discussing or debating with strangers as they really don’t want to discuss or debate, they just want to argue. Same with family members who don’t share my beliefs, and who really don’t have much knowledge about politics, they just repeat what they hear from the leaders of their fringe groups. I’m not a political scholar anymore than I am a religious scholar but I try read and learn as much about both as I can.
2. Which is more offensive to you: book burning or flag burning? Why?
Book burning. Books are a source of education, entertainment and escape. Flags are simply pieces of fabric and only have the power or symbolism that people give it.
3. Complete the sentence. Most of all, I want to meet someone who deserves my _____ :
a. trust.
b. loyalty.
c. admiration.
d. love.
My love. All the others are too fleeting.
4. Which kind of fidelity (being faithful) is more important to you?
a. Physical/Sexual.
b. Mental/Emotional.
c. Neither is important.
d. Both are equally important.
Neither is important. I think we put too much focus on monogamy, jealousy and fidelity, which too me is nothing more than ownership.
5. Would you avoid all contact with an ex if your current significant other asked you to?
a. Yes, of course!
b. No. This would be an unacceptable demand.
c. Only if their justification seems reasonable.
Yes!! And I have. It was more important to him than it was to me and I’m not out to hurt someone on purpose.
Bonus: If you were to die, the person going through your belongings would be shocked to find _____ ?
At one time I would have sex toys, but those are all gone now… I don’t have the stamina or dexterity to use them anymore. Now it would just be my erotic writing.
Because, ya know, women are not suppose to enjoy sex (according to my age group), and especially if you are over 50. I’m now 70 and I still love to read about it, and fantasize about it, and think about it….
