1. First question relates to the photo above–what is it?
As the daughter of a Salmon Fisherman, and who cleaned and cooked my own share of salmon steaks, this looks just like the center of a salmon steak.
2. Should we be signalling our existence to alien life? Why?
Sure why not? We could use some intelligent life on this planet.
3. What is one thing you do not understand about yourself?
Why I keep developing new painful diseases. They are not enough to kill me, they just make me wanting them to kill me. At least at moments.
4. What weird food combinations do you really enjoy?
Well, I don’t think they are weird but some people do. I love butter and I put it on macaroni and cheese, scrambled eggs, hash browns, spinach.
5. What are two of your go-to strategies to help make big decisions?
I put the things I need to decide about on a list. I make an outline of pros and cons. I looked a the list for days and do what if’s about it. And then I let someone else make the decision.
Bonus: How replaceable are you?
I would like to think I’m not replaceable. But I doubt that’s the case. Life goes on.

Thank you for not assuming that the fisherman was my dad. Although it was. Mom was an excellent cleaner of the fish and cooking it up. Her fish and chips were the best. As kids, we learned how to clean fish and learned about reproduction when we found a fish full of fish eggs just ready to expel. That prompted lots of questions, like what are these, what are they for, how did they get there.
Butter fetish? Oh yes!!
