Eggnog ~ I have a special way of making a very easy eggnog beverage. A scoop of vanilla ice cream in a tall cup, fill up 2/3 the way of commercial dairy eggnog and top off with some 7up and sprinkle with a bit of nutmeg.

Holiday Traditions ~ I love remembering old traditions and learning about new traditions

My Egyptian Chess Set ~ I made this ceramic chess set in 1975 and I don’t even know how to play chess! But I love the Egyptian symbols that it uses.

Zoom ~ I was well familiar with Skype and that has always been a lot of fun, but Zoom took it to another level for me.

Christmas Trees ~ I’m like Kevin in the movie “Home Alone”… I love Christmas trees. In the past I had as many as 8 decorated trees all over the house. This year I have two small ones. As long as the lights work, I’m happy.

I would love to have a simple dinner party using just soups and salads; French onion soup, tomato bisque and broccoli cheese along with broccoli Salad, green tossed salad and cold noodle salad. Then I would add a Christmas themed charcuterie board and a matching candy board.

Candles in the Window ~ This year I have battery operated candles in each front window. The candles come on when it gets dark and go off when the sun comes up. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G5L1L8V/

Chinese take out ~ I don’t even miss going to for dinner as long as I can get take out.

Massage chair and Bluetooth ~ I call this my astronaut chair… it reclines back to zero gravity where my feet are higher than my head (to make my doctors happy), and I have the Bluetooth on from my phone so I can listen to music, guided meditation, podcasts and audible books and then topped with my heated blanket to make me happy. I often fall asleep.
